Through our scholarship program, we’re helping to break down the barriers that can make this goal seem out of reach. FTA is pleased to announce the expansion of our scholarship program, originally launched to support two amazing children living with sickle cell—Success and Ismail—whose education is being funded by our generous patron, Daniel Egurube, and an anonymous donor as they begin school in September 2023.
Building on this foundation, we're thrilled to share that this academic year, we will welcome three additional children to the scholarship fund. This expansion brings our total scholarship commitment to five young warriors—and to date, our collective scholarship fund has grown to N6 million naira.

We believe every child deserves a chance. This program is our way of empowering children living with sickle cell with life chances and a future—a future where the condition does not define them. We are excited about this journey and extend heartfelt congratulations to their families.

Our deepest gratitude goes to our patron, Daniel Egurube, for launching The Esther Egurube Scholarship (TEES) Fund, ensuring that his mother’s legacy of helping disadvantaged children lives on.
