BLOSSOMING
2025
This World Sickle Cell Day, June, 19th, I will be releasing an animated film (The Life and Death of a Blossoming Rose) created by a talented young artist who is also my beloved niece, Michelle Okochi and narrated my sister, Ijeoma Okochi-Agwu. It’s based on a poem I wrote a few years ago.
The film and poem shines the light on the silent struggle of children, teens and adults living with sickle cell disorder.

BLESSING
2025
''This year, I chose to celebrate my birthday a little differently by walking with purpose and raising money for a cause that means a great deal to me. I gathered friends for a mindful and beautiful first‑ever 12 km hike in Box Hill on 31 May to support Fit to Achieve and our work in West Africa. Sickle cell affects thousands of families across the region, where limited access to care, community support and reliable resources makes daily life even harder.
Through everyone’s generosity, £390 was raised.''

SIP'N'SHOP
2024
The Sip’n’Shop event at St Pancras Clock Tower created a warm and uplifting space to support the Fit to Achieve Foundation while enjoying a little retail therapy. Our limited collection was carefully curated by Eejiomah, a Nigerian‑based Creative Director and Fashion Stylist, offering unique and stylish pieces with a story behind them. The event raised £1,600, contributing directly to programs that strengthen wellbeing, education and community support for families affected by sickle cell
